Quarter21 is a hub of digital culture, design, and fashion. Encompassing fourty, independent, cultural enterprises within 7,000 sq metres of space, the sections of the mall, Electric Avenue and transeuropa, boast an Internet radio broadcaster, a music archive with music download store, spaces for computer games, comics, exhibition space for art schools, a food store, café, bookstore, fashion and design shops and large event halls. Art magazines and publishers, agencies and cultural associations have their offices on the upper floors along with guest rooms. An Artist-in-Residence programme runs annually, where approximately 40 international artists join forces on projects.
