The Atterseelebenskunst gallery and studio was set up with the purpose of providing a culturally enriching creative experience for visitors to Attersee and the local community, particularly young people and children. The centre organises short courses in various branches of the arts; painting, drawing, sculpture, theatre, costume making, dance, music and writing. There are numerous other events including local themed trips, cooking and even karaoke. The philosophical principle of the Atterseelebenskunst is to offer the maximum number of creative opportunities without pressure or evaluation.
